Good job! I got mine in last weekend. Best bedliner for a truck ever.............. At least the way I use a truck.

I just put mine in yesterday and it really looks and fits great! Don't think I'll be hauling mulch in it, but for anything else it should be great!

wow 300 dollars is alot cheaper than LINE X. I would like a bed rug but have one question -

can you put a bed rug over a used truck bed. I bought my current truck used with 84K miles, and the bed is scratched in several places. Not rusting or anything, but it just is an eye sore. I only thought of line X because of the existing scratches being filled in by the coating.

could i put a bed rug in the bed and not have to worry about any potential for corrosion under the rug over time? Also, would you guys say 300 dollars was a great deal, or is that the general price for bed rug/installation?

thanks in advance for any opinions or suggestions!

John

id say if your not gonna have a cover over your bed... dont get a bedrug.. these just velcro in so they will get water under them.

what 1fast4.6 said .. get a spray in or do-it-yourself liner.. bedrugs and drop-ins will promote corrosion without a tight fitting shell or cover over the bed..

Wise is the maker of the BedRug. A quality product.

There is an urban legend that gets perpetuated on the internet. No bedliner "promotes" corrosion. That includes the drop ins. Drop ins chafe the paint and can allow corrosion, but they do not promote corrosion. BedRugs and DualLiners do not chafe the paint and in fact protect the paint from damage. You don't need a cover to protect your truck.

That said, if you already have scratches down to the metal (through the galvanization) you should protect the metal before ANY liner is installed (spray liners adhere to paint, not bare metal).

Looks great! Wonder if it would be alright under a soft tonneau cover?
