Hard sport lid for F150 flareside

Went to the dealer and they have a Jeraco sport lid for my 05 flareside, but could not give me a picture of it. It seems that Ranch Fiberglass is providing the lid. Anyone have any pics or had any dealings with Ranch?

If you get a pic or two please post. I would like to get a lower profile one for my flareside like a ******** or something but most of the pics are on style sides. Others I have seen are kind of bulky. I would like to see my flareside shots,Thanks.

I would not recommend the ******** lid. It has a rubber trim on the bottom of it that tends to rub on the bed when you open it. Over time this will more than likely cause the paint to be damaged.

There are very few companies that make painted covers for the 04+ Flareside. Raider is one that does. Here is a pic of it:

The Raider is called the LoRider and is a wrap style cover. It is a nice cover and looks good.

I wouldn't recommend the *******'s lid either, not because of paint damage due to rubbing since the fords have the plastic bedcaps and the lid or rubber trim should be in a place to hit the paint. The reason I would stay away from the *******'s is warranty issues, I haven't had any good experience with them for warranty issues. Whenever you call them about a warranty issue they have an attitude that you are wrong there is no way that there lid is flawed. And the price to quality and features as compared to other brands such as the ARE LoPro and the LoRider is completely out of line, you can expect to pay upwards of $1300-$1500 for the ******* whereas I sell ARE's LoPro for $949 and it has a much better clamping mounting system that is standard not extra, and also has the fossliner interior standard not extra.

Unless you are near a stocking *******'s dealer that receives their covers on a truck from the factory then avoid them like the plague, shipping to you will be $200-$300 and if there is a warranty issue you have to pay to ship it back to them, they will send it back and pick up the shipping but you are still out the initial and the amount to send it back. If you are gonna buy from a dealer that gets them from a warehouse such as Keystone then you will be responsible for everything and the dealer nor Keystone are liable for any warranty issues.

I actually saw a ******** lid on one of the flaresides and the lid goes past the bed caps and rubs on the paint. I agree with The Beast too in that, if you every have any problems with these covers, good luck!! I had a customer who purchased one for an older chevy and they sent him one for a newer chevy. It was made to fit over the tailgate cap, so the lid was way too long. It took him over 3 months to get the thing returned and the right one sent. What a mess!!!

ARE's are nice covers, I sell the Raider LoRider for $899 installed.
