bed rail caps

How are the plastic bed rail caps attached to the truck on a 2007 F-150?

Are they removable?

i know that they come off but you wont like what it looks like under it. i have seen pics on here.

I don't want to leave them off, just remove and reinstall later.

Yes, you can take them off. This pic is not a 2007, but I don't think there have been any changes.
