DualLiner (formerly DualComp)

Hey guys, just a quick update -

The name change is almost complete - the last things in line are the new loadguards (front of bed). I took the first couple off the machines, they look sweet! I'll get a picture tomorrow and post it.

The updated sidewalls for the 5.5' should be available within 2 weeks. For those that have been waiting, that includes the vertical 2xX lumber slot (for load seperation). There's a few other tweaks, but other than me no one will ever even notice them.

The updates to my truck will take place over the next couple of weeks. I'll post pics of that too!

Thanks for all those that love their DualLiner!

Bryndon

My truck has been in getting re-wrapped, so I haven't been able to get pictures yet. I get it back tonight, so maybe in the morning I can snap some pics.

The new website is up at www.DualLiner.com!!!

Bryndon,

Any ETA as to when the latest Dualliner with the vertical lumber slots will be available for the 5.5ft bed through the online vendors? You mentioned around 2 weeks on 2/27 for availability. Does the liner ship directly from you or do they carry inventory? I want to make sure I get the new model before I buy.

Thanks,

Scott

They should hit the floor later this week - I ordered some additional mods to the mold while it was in the tool shop. Figured "in for a penny, in for a pound"...

I spent the last three days of last week at the PowerBlock Tech Center getting a commercial ready, so I haven't had time to do much else. I should have several things to announce in the next week.

And I got half the 6" lift installed last night, plan to finish tonight (we'll see how energetic I get). Then with the new lift and tires, I'll get some pictures to post.

Will give you a lock on exactly when the new 5.5s are ready to roll and we'll come up with a plan to make sure anyone who has been waiting gets the latest greatest version.

OK, so I wasn't as energetic as I expected to be... got the truck apart and started getting it back together - probably 3 hours left for tonight.

Additional update...

World of Truck on the Outdoor Channel Friday night - the interview I did out a SEMA is going to air! It's in the last 10 minutes of the show. Watch it... and no comments about the gray hair...

Here's the link to my new gallery... the pictures aren't "fun" (no action), but at lease you can see the look of the new set up.

I just got word that Monday morning I have to go approve the trim on the neww 5.5' sidewalls. Should be ready to ship late next week. If you are looking for the new (with wood slats) sidewalls, drop me a line. Our shipping department will be careful about making sure your orders are filled with the latest/greatest editions.

We've never made one with a Ford logo, so I think yours must be a Duraliner (drop in by Durakon Industries). As much as I would like to take credit for your happiness, I don't think I should.

The old name DualComp would be on the front panel where I suspect you have the Ford logo - is that right? Yours also should be 1 piece with a ribbed plastic floor. Ours has a rubber mat that locks into a channel in the hard sidewalls.

Yeah I guess you are right...I appologize I just thought I had one :o my bad. The logo is on the sidewall on the other side, its a little scratched up and bit so I am wrong I guess. I need to take a look when I get back home. Again Congratulations! And you are 100% right on what type of liner it is. I would like to see the video for y'alls (mine is getting pretty banged up and i'm lookin' for a replacement within the next two years.
~Phil
P.S. Good lookin' truck very classy, and I wish I had a TV so I could see that SEMA show.

Unfortunately, ours fit 2004 and newer F150 - we're new enough that molds are still a major expense (of course when aren't they?) so we are focused on new models until we get all of them. Then we may go back one generation... although at the cost of molds it is pretty unlikely.

Thanks on the truck - I did the mechanical work and all the product selection - even approved the wrap. It's fun to be able to "play" at work!

Dual Liner

Bryndon,

Nice meeting you at SEMA yesterday....

Got to see that F150 and the Dual Liner first hand in Atlanta, so I was impressed. The fit of the side panels and front panel on the Dual Liner were unreal. Honestly, it looked like a spray on....the fit was that good. Nothing's going to move around on that rubber floor either. It's a nice mix of protection and clean looks for the side pieces, with a no-skid floor that'll hold stuff in place. I like the fact that it's all easy to take out and clean too.

Nice product.

Pleasures all mine Brian! Really enjoyed meeting you too! Always great to meet F150online guys!

It's so tough to describe how nice it is or how well it works, but you got the first hand touch - makes a huge difference!

Thanks for stopping in, again it was a real pleasure!
