Duraliner?
Duraliner?
Hello everyone, let me start by saying I am new to the forum. I just purchased my first truck, a 2001 F-150 which I am picking up from the ford dealer tomorrow. Its in nice shape but the bed is a little beat up with lots of scratches from the previous owner, a couple are down to the bare metal and have a little surface rust. I am planning on removing the rust from those scratches, and applying primer and touch-up paint to the scratches that are down to the bare metal.
Then I want to put on a bedliner. The spray on's look great but unfortunatly me being a poor college student I just cant afford them, especially after buying the truck. That leaves drop in liners. So far the oem Duraliner seems like a good (and cost effective) choice for me. My question is, has anyone had any problems with a Duraliner or are they a pretty good choice? Or is there a better bedliner in the $200-300 dollar range that anyone cares to recommend? Its a 2001 F-150 standard cab/long bed.
Any input would be apprieciated. Thanks!

Most hardliners are near the same ... some are better made.. thats about it .. the ones that cost less just wear out faster .. they both do the same job.
hope that helps ..I like www.BedRug.com
No problems with my dealer installed Duraliner. Fit and finish is much better than the Penda SR I had installed for 24 hours.
Also had the OEM Duraliner in the '97 that I traded for this truck. No problems with it either and it spent 5 years outdoors 24/7/365.
