After reading posts here for a few weeks I broke down and took my truck to the local Line-X dealer (Line-X IT in Fredericksburg). Without going into all the details, it turned into a longer process than I had planned on (3 days instead of 1 due to problems with the compressor) but I have to say I'm very happy with the end result.

To their credit, the shop did all they could to compensate me for the extra time I spent without my truck (more than 1/2 off the original price, and even loaned me their -350 diesel to use for two days). Glad to see that customer service is alive and well

Now I can start using my truck like a truck...

 

Damn.... It took my line-x guy a little under an hour. When he said it was done, I was like damn that was fast
