BedRug vs. Ford Liner
Hello,
This is my first post to this forum, I have been lurking about for the past month or so since I picked up my new '05 King Ranch.
Anyway...
I have decided on getting a "soft" bed liner have heard a lot about the BedRug but not too much about the Ford version. Since these cost virtually the same where I am (Ontario, Canada), I would like to get the opinions of those who know about both before making up my mind which one. I am interested in all opinions good or bad about each.
I apologize if this has already been beaten to death and I missed it :o
Thanks,

Ford has a soft Bedrug version? Or are you talking about the plastic Ford bedliner?
I have the Bedrug in my Lightning and LOVE it. It was worth every penny. The installation was very straight forward and easy to complete. It took me approx. 30 – 45 minutes.
I haven’t seen a Ford Bedrug liner so I can’t comment on them. However, if your talking about the plastic Ford bedliner I would say don’t waste your money on it. It will help protect your bed from getting tore up but it will or can still scratch the paint under it from rubbing. Things slide around all over in the plastic liner where with the Bedrug they stay put pretty well but not as well if you had a spray on rubber bed liner.

Ditto.
Products are one in the same. The one you get at the dealer is just privately labeled for Ford.
