Since it wasn't stated (or asked before answered). What type are you looking for, if you have a preference. Tough is a little vague. Do you prefer the spray-in, drop-in or maybe a bedrug. Any one of these would give you hours of material to paw through on a search. They all have advantages, some are good and others are excellent so be detailed.

There is a salesman trolling the boards for customers with a new product called Dualcomp if you want to check that out. Nevermind, it's for the newer 50's so sorry about that but I'll leave it on this post in case you have another truck in mind in the future or for a family member.

I've had Speedliner, Rhino and a drop in and they all had different qualities that were worth the money. IMO, Rhino was great for two years untill it faded and eventually tore and speedliner until I soaked it in bleach (long story) and the drop in was a tough son of a bit#h but skidded alot more than a spray in ever would.

Good luck and clear your schedule there is a lot of info on all of them

The bedrug is a great looking alternative. You can even haul dirt and rocks and just pressure wash it clean. It is really a type of plastic, but feels and looks like carpet. I love mine.

Depends on what you use it for. Tough and long time are vague... tough for hauling camping gear or tough for regular heavy construction work? Long time I lease for 2 years or long time I keep my trucks for 20 years?
