TruckGasm, as you can see it's been a while and I'm thinking about doing this with this coming tax return. Now that Xtra is out, what do you think? I've posted a few threads here and there over the past year and the majority of folks say that Line-X will look like crap and the pores will get full of dirt and stuff that will keep it looking like crap. Would Nason do any better a job of sealing the pores up since I'd imagine it might "puddle" some or is Xtra still prefered for GLOSS BLACK? I'm sorta open to suggestion if you think a really dark gunmetal like color would do better. Thinking about doing the whole thing in Nason / Xtra and then doing as cheap an undercoat as possible. Will Xtra add more weight than the Nason? I'd hate to do this if it's going to add over 150 lbs to the total weight. Thanks.

Neither Nason or Xtra will add any significant weight to the project, so it should be of no concern. Xtra is a superior product although it does cost more than Nason. Xtra for black or color matching is now available.

LINE-X weighs .7 pounds per sqft at 1/8" thickness. The truck's bed is sprayed 1/8" to 3/16" and everything else is about 1/8" or slightly less. Typically, you're looking at adding 70 or so pounds if applied to just the truck's bed. If you want the entire truck sprayed, I'm guessing you're looking at about 120 pounds.
