I'm thinking about getting the Lund tri-fold cover for my 2005 F-150 bed. Does anyone know if the Lund Trifold will lock down. My tail gate does have a key lock, but I'm not sure if that can somehow secure the tri-fold cover. Any feedback?

 

I thought a lockable tailgate was standard on all F150s....

Lockable tailgate might be standard on F-150's, but do you know if I install a Lund Genisis tri-fold bed cover does it attach somehow to the tailgate to be locked down? I'm looking for a bed cover and like the tr-fold, but can't seem to find out if it locks. I need a cover that locks.

 

I have a 2005 and just installed the Lund tri-fold bed cover that is 5 and 1/2 feet for the crew cab. It attachs at 4 points, 2 on the front tri-fold and 2 on the rear tri-fold. Easy to install, easy to fold up, and easy to remove. It does not it attach to the tailgate. It will only keep honest people honest. I love mine.

Hi I second that..I bought it for my 05 also works great and comes off quick if you need to take it off...with the tail gate shut and locked works pretty well ...
