bedrug questions

I am looking at investing in a bedrug, but I was wondering what you guys that about it, If I bag the truck, and cut out the bit for the arms to show up? would it look goofy cutting into the bedlining? Also, can bedrug come in any colors like black. Black compliments just about anything

I have two trucks with bed rug the color is a darg gray almost black. Very easy to modify. I installed one in my 70 f100 that is tubed. At the time they only had one for 73 and up it was very eay to cut and seam using carpet tape. When I needed extra material I called the company and they supply it by the yard, when I told them how much I neede they sent me a piece at no charge.
On my 01 supercrew I installed whater injection I installed the pump and tank in the rt front of the bed, I made a square cover and velcroed it in place, This stuff Is great to work with!!!

That sounds really user friendly. What if I wanted to cut out a bit of it and have the back wall of the bed say "SVT". Does the carpet only show on one side, and then you see all the crazy looking inner-workings?

The bed rug is rubber backed has like a foam padding built in. I am shure that if you were handy and wanted to you could cut out letters in some other color of carpet or indoor out door carpet and insert it in to te bed rug. If you have time anything is possable!!!!!!!
