Herculiner peeling...Options

Hi, I have a 01 Screw and the previous owner had applied a herculiner roll in bedliner. It is peeling in some areas. Can I Rhino liner over it or does it need to be completely removed??

It needs to be completely removed. If you spray something on top of it, it may not stick to the Herc. But, even worse, is that the Herc is the product keeping the liner on the truck, which will evetually come off taking everything with it. Get LINE-X instead of Rhino.

You don't have to remove the Herculiner...You can buy a quart it, clean the bed VERY well with TSP, rinse, let it dry, adn re-apply another coat. I've had 5 trucks with Herculiner, and have never had a problem

on second inspection it is not herculiner. It lacks the grit of herculiner. I'm not sure what brand it is to be honest. Who else makes the paint in kind??

I know of three paint ons: Herculiner, Duplicolor, and Durabak. All of them are the same thing, polyurethane with rubber chunks in it.
