Does anyone have experience with the FORD factory drop in bedliner?
I have a FORD bed*mat*, which is that rubber stuff and is really great to keep the floor undented and keep things from sliding around, but find that to avoid getting pitch and stuff on it, I end up putting cardboard over it for firewood loads and etc. My original intent was to not buy a liner until the bed was ratted up, then someday put a new liner in it to make it look new again, but now am rethinking that.
I can get a good deal on the factory FORD liner, and it appears pretty versatile, and would like other opinions of this. I've seen some liners all rippled at the edges and things like that, and wondered if the FORD would hold up as well as some of the other aftermarket liners.
And if the FORD one is not too desirable, what is the alternative for an aftermarked that's both durable and easy to clean? I have a cap so would like one that fits under the bed rail so I don't have to remove the cap to install it.
Thanks in advance!

I had one put in when I bought a new Ranger in '91. Still looked great 6 years later when the truck was totaled in an accident. I would guess that one of the Pendaliner or Duraliner makes them for Ford.

Charlsve- The Ford one is made by Duraliner. As drop-ins go, it's a nice product. The sides go under the rails, but the front goes over it (cap install??). They tend to rattle and rub paint off very quickly if you don't install a paintsaver under it.

Thanks a lot, Frank S. and max mitchell. Appreciate the replies! I believe that I will order the FORD (Duraliner)one then. I imagine I'll maybe be able to lift up the cap at the front to get the bedliner in there on the front rail or maybe be able to modify the liner a little if it won't ruin it. I'll have to see.

It was in the truck when I bought it used. From what I can see it is beat up pretty bad under it. I'm going to get a spray in some day.
