Thumbs up Herculiner

Well after two weeks of prepping the truck bed (doing a little every nite after work). Yesterday I applied the Herculiner material to the bed. And let me tell you I wear the black hands of Herculiner with pride. The installation went rather well, the hardest part was the masking off the tailgate. I must admit after the first coat I did have my reservations about the product. But as soon as I started to apply the second coat I knew it was going to look great. And it does!

If I had to do it over again I would only this time I would buy an additional 2 quarts so I could apply a third coat. Plus I would try to fing some of the thinner product that they call for, it might have come in handy for the last coat (it does get pretty thick). Also don't forget the gloves

All-n-all I very happy with the end result, and now I can take the other $300.00 dollars I saved and buy more toys

Don

Congrats dnaber, sounds like it all worked out well. I would have done that as well had my truck not already had the Rhino Liner in it already. Did you look at the How-To on f150world.com? They have a nice set of instructions there.

Good job!

Hunt4Fun, Yes I did and it was a BIG help. I tella I would use this stuff for undercoating if I had too. I'm just plain that impressed with it.
