Just got the 2001 Silver XLT. I am thinking spray in liner, but which one. Is one better than the other? Can I get one to match the silver color without a big cost increase. I hear some are grey in color, light or dark? Do you agree this is the way to go and not the drop in. I looked at the bedrug but I need something that can handle more abuse with less fuss. Suggestions welcomed.

 

I just got the Line-X spray in bedliner in my F-150 and really like it alot. Its really hard to put any kind of scratches in it and it seems to be really durable. Paid $396 and that included tax for mine here in PA.

Line-X !! Tough as nails. No "cottage cheese" look (as seen on many Rhino liner spray ons). I've hauled rocks, mulch, a sofa and fridge with nary a nick. It also sparkles. I keep it looking new with an occasional squirt of armor all.

 

I've got a grey line-x going in next Thursday. I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

I've had Line-X in for over a year and love it. An occasional scrubbing with soap and water brings back the shine after a rough trip to the dump. With a coupon I spent $365. I think it looks better than the Rhino Drips and would recommend Line-X anyday.

Another vote for Line-X I have had it for a year and still looks new. The people that did it were great and it only took about an hour.

I don't know how you guys are getting such great prices on these liners. Every Line-x dealer in Minneapolis Minnesota area has quoted me $399+tax , and one rhino dealer has quoted me $359+tax (and that was with a sale supposedly) Guess i live in the wrong part of the country!

I'm with ratzke. I looked at the cost of the spray ins and said NO WAY. A friend of mine was gonna get his shortbed Toyota sprayed until they told him $400! I was floored. I went to K-Mart and got the Herculiner kit for $100 and am totally satisfied w/ the results. Common sense fellas, common sense....

 

Yeah fellas, common sense. You get what you pay for. Go with the Line-X. That's common sense.

good info! am getting new f150 but i have a different problem/concern. i slide a 150lb. fiberglass boat (i bass fish in small ponds) into my 97 f150 bed--now covered with a rubber bed liner. i have to slide the boat in and out several times a weekend and am wondering if line-x or rhino (only brands here) would grind against the boat bottom like sand paper? i want a spray-in but this boat is relatively soft. please comment. dan
