Dave,
That seems like a long time to get your VIN, I had mine in approx. 2 weeks.
Anyway, if you are getting your info. directly from the dealer, you may already have the truck as I write this. I found that if I used dealer info exclusivly (and didn't keep after them) I'ld gotten maybe 3 calls during the 9 week process.
Like I said, your probably already driving the truck, I am

I asked what the going price was for a "FORD" liner when I ordered my current truck...they quoted me $250.00 installed.

I had a "DealerName Ford" bedliner installed when I bought the truck for $150.00, but it turned out to such a piece of junk - bad fit, no stake pockets, thin cheap material, etc., that I had the dealer take it out and put in a real "Ford" bedliner (at no cost). Much better product! The latest dealer parts catalog I got from my local dealer listed the liner at $275.00 plus installation.

"Ford" logo duraliner installed in mine at local dealer as a walk in purchase for a total of 181.30 installed. Took them about 10 min and got all the screws that they removed to install the longer ones on tailgate.
On the other hand

They put a small nick about the size of a pin head on the lower portion inside of tailgate when installing. They called me back to show me and apologized for it and said they would fix it(truck had 300 miles on it). I couldn`t even see it till they pointed it out. They offered free tubes of touch-up paint to match the red and silver for future use for my trouble. I gladly accepted knowing that hauling stuff in the back was going to scratch and chip that area MUCH worse than they did. It was nice knowing they admitted fault on their own and made amends in a way

My dealer popped me for $279. I'm suddenly feeling a sharp pain coming from my a$$. Paying invoice for my truck eases that pain a bit.

I paid $124.00 + tax for the Ford logo'ed Duraliner and installed it myself in about 15 min.

Heck...It was practically installed when I loaded it to drive home!

I did however make sure the bed and liner were clean and free of dirt and grit before the final installation.

So I got a good deal, but I should of installed it my self since it is so easy to do. They charge you 1 hour no matter what for the installation when I know I could of done it in a half of hour

Just got my Ford Duraliner installed in 20 minutes by my dealer for $165.00 plus tax in Austin. Would've been quicker if it weren't for the darn birds making a mess on the liner. They had to wash it off before installing.

I got mine for $4.00 a month!!!

It was $250 installed and I just had them include it in the lease. And since I have read all of your posts, I love the idea of having the dealer transfering "my" bedliner into my new truck when the time comes!! Thanks guys!!
