Cool Line-x

Just got the Line-x installed on 10/25. Has to be the best looking product on the market. I sent away for the (want to be a dealer) kit. The line-x sells its self, so I might start my own spray shop. In the mean time if you live in NH, I would highly, recommend LINE-X of New Hampshire in Bow. Tim and Steve run a great shop, and the truck looks great. If its a toss up between Line-x and Rhino, go with Line-x. Rhino looks like black cottage cheese. Its sprayed on cold, Line-x is sprayed on hot so it looks better. I don't know which will last looking, but I will let you know if anything goes wrong with it.

ACAPILOT,
Was the shop near Graponne or is it the exit before? Also How much did they charge? Did they leave the tie downs on or do you have to give them up? I'm up in Vermont and can't find a good place to have it done.
Thanks,

Thumbs up

Just got my '00 Lightning Line-X'ed today and this stuff looks incredible! Definitely take a look at Line-X before deciding on a spray-in liner. Definitely better looking than RhinoLiner.

FWIW, the installer here in Dallas (Texas Trick Shop) spray over the bed bolts, but painted the tail gate access panel seperately. Very little overspray and the truck was ready to go in a bit over 2 hours.

Hey JazzVT, The shop is line-x of NH and the two guys are Tim and Steve. They did a great job, took the bed bolts and tie downs out before the truck was sprayed. They also spray the top of the bed near the glass. Its the thin part of the bed. It is exit 11 of of 93,
Hacket Hill Rd, Left 3A, right on Tall wood. It is near a Big Truck Accessory shop. You can go to www.line-x.com and see if their is a dealer near you. The cost was $395, no tax in NH. The directions on the web site might be better than mine, I just moved here from Northern Virginia.
Good luck , If you need more info e-mail me off line The-suke@webtv.net

I agree wit yall. I own my own shop and I spray superliner. I looked all over th internet and this is the strongest stuff i could find. I looked at lin-x and if I wasnt spraying this I would be spraying that. The rhino sucks I can rub a sample of rhino in my beds and it rubs a hole in it. You can to the same in yalls Line-x beds the rhino just crumbles. What made up my mind was the stringth. I can take a sample of line-x and it can be ripped but not easly but the superliner sample is much stronger. The super liner is applied differently but looks the same. There are 3 ways to apply bedliners. the hot high presswure(line-x)
cold low pressure(rhino)
gravity feed(superliner)
in my opnion the low pressure method looks like crap. The guys in town get drips and runs with the rhino. Any one interested in doing this for them selvs call me at
(318)459-1500 I can set you up with a complete line for an accessory shop

Ditto on Line-X. It was recommended to me by a friend who owns a paint factory and knows his stuff. I had my HD-F150 done a couple of weeks ago by Line-X of Greater Fort Worth. Tom did a spectacular job. He removed ALL the bed hardware, the tailgate and the tailgate panel. He even took out a couple of dings on the wheel wells and straightened the inside of the tailgate where it was bent by me riding my Harley up a ramp and into the bed(why does Ford use such cheap metal in high service areas?). The job took two hours. I found some minor overspray on the paint and wheels a few days later, took it back and he removed it without any problems using methanol.
