Well, Its a polyurea, so it just blows the socks off of polyurethanes, but its probably overkill for a bed liner, unless you will be hauling a good deal of chemicals or the like. But you'll also have to spend alot for it, because the rigs needed to shoot it cost upwards of $50k, pluss the cost of the product. and then there's the job of finding some one near you who's willing to handle such a small job.

BigBunnell,
Thanks for the reply, If it isn't Line-x or Rhino nobody knows anything about it... I did some web searching on "polyurea" and liked what I read.
I have a new 2001 F150 SuperCrew and got a firm price of $275 for th FMJ spray-in (The dealer was at a local Fair drumming business and was having a Fair special...) They will normally do a short bed truck for $325. They remove all bed bolts and tie downs before spraying and give a lifetime guarantee.
They are located about 5 minutes from my house where the nearest Line-x is 110 mile away and wants $400. Rhino is 65 miles away and I dunno the price.
Somehow I think my choice is clear and I actually feel lucky about it.
Thanks for helping confirm that this would be a good move. The sample FMJ sprayed truck at the fair looked great.
Regards,

Thought I would share my experience in case someone cares
Well, I got the "Full Metal Jacket™" spray-in liner today in East Haven, CT. The 2 guys that own and run the shop were very professional. The whole job was done in 2.5 hours. They covered (protected) the truck, sanded the bed, wiped it down with acetone afterwards, removed every bolt, tie down and rear plugs as requested before spraying. Absolutly no hasles or extra charge to do so. I asked to get a medium roughness finish and it came out just perfect. Just a bit harsher than an orange peel. The product goes on smooth as glass and the texture is done by a spraying technique.
2 thumbs up for Stead-Fast Custom Linings in East Haven, CT.
