Question Sanding the Bed First?????

Local shop uses Scorpin spray in bed liners. I have never heard of Scorpin, Any thoughts?
Second, they said that they have to sand the bed down first to get the spray in product to adhere to the truck bed. It kinda makes sense, like painting the house. Did you have to get yours sanded before sprayed on your bedliner?
Thanks

Yep.... used an pneumatic sander to scuff the clearcoat. They certainly did not sand down to metal!
