Are you asking about a spray-in liner or a drop-in liner? If a spray-in, find out who the dealer takes the truck to (usually a local aftermarket spray shop) and check their price to you. I got mine for $100 less than the dealer was going to charge.

I have a Ford liner. It has Ford imprinted on the back of the bed. It is ribbed and looks like a duraliner. It works for me. I would recommend it.

Cool

It is made by Duraliner. I also have one in my truck. I also install these. We used to deal with other aftermarket liners, but due to quality (or rather lack of) we only do the Ford liners now. They're a nice thick plastic too.

I just had my Ford bedliner installed today. (Free ) It looks pretty good. Definitely seems better than some of the aftermarket ones.

The Ford Bedliner is in fact a Duraliner product and is of high quality. Also, Duraliner specially puts the Ford emblem at the head of the bedliner. A note though, put it in while it is warm outside or in the summer in the sun. The liner is flexible and installs better. I had to take mine out due to a lot the screw holding the liner on the gate being crooked. Get it, you'll love it!

I had the FORD Duraliner installed on my F150 by the dealer. Like the liner, nice and thick, good quality. Problem was the instalation by the dealer. When they installed the liner they scraped the bed rail caps up (they replaced both), bent the bed rails (looked like they used a screwdriver to pry it under the rails), Stripped 4 of the 8 screws on the tailgate. After noticing the damage I contacted the dealer and all was fixed. Only reason I had the dealer install it was because it was December otherwise I would have installed it.

I shopped around and then bought the Ford Duraliner made bedliner. I installed it myself to avoid the problems, wax the bed first, and install a paint saver pad under it. The paint saver pad eliminates the liner rubbing the paint off the bed, and eliminates the vibration and noise I experienced without it. Ford wanted $325, so I told them I found a Pendaliner for $250 and they sold it to me for $275; so there is some room for negotiation.

I had the FOrd bedliner in my last Ford Ranger. It outlasted me ( 320,000 miles) and 9 years. I just bought a 2000 and I had a Rhino liner sprayed in it and I LOVE IT. It holds a cooler with a case and 20 lbs of ice perfectly still even under extreme driving conditions. The Rhino Liner comes with a lifetime warranty same as Ford insertable plastic liner. Go with the spray in liner nothing moves in it like it will in the insert.

Unhappy

Just my personal experience-

Have tried 3 Ford Duraliners in my bed (flareside), all of which didn't quite fit on the driver's side. Oh sure it would look fine at the dealership, but go home and wait a few days (warm/cold cycles) and the driver's side of the Duraliner would start pulling away from the sides.

Anyway, we're trying one more Duraliner, and if not I think I'm going with the Line-X spray-in.

Hey Kitt,
I too have the Ford bedliner in my truck. I like it very much and would recommend it also. As prevousely stated by the other members, it's ribbed with the Ford name printed on the back against the cab.

Welcome aboard!

max,

Where did you find the paint saver pad? Do you know if there is any info about it on the Internet?

I don't have a local line-x dealer yet and am a little hesitant about spraying over all the beautiful red paint in my new truck so I bought the Ford rubber bed mat at the dealer parts counter ($90+ tax). Its heavy-duty, looks good with the Ford logo on it and when the bed does start getting scratched up I'll get it line-xed then throw the mat back in on top of it.
