Post Line X maintanence

I just got a Line-X sprayed into the bed yesterday, it came out great. I was wondering what the consenses is on maintaining the liner for fading, it looks almost wet now and shiny, I have seen them with age and the do fade and dry out, can anything be done???
Thanks in advance
Todd

Thumbs up

When I got my Rhino-Liner, I was told that I could keep mine shiny with a light wipe-down of kerosene when it gets dull.
I opted not to do that and just hose it down for a good cleaning. It gets dull where it's walked on but the sides of the bed are still shiny.
Good luck with yours.

I've had the Line-X in my truck since March and I to keeping looking good, I take a scrub brush and a little bit of soap to it, and it brings a nice shine back to it.

Cool

I appreciate the replies, the Line-X group here in Atlanta state that they have a product that will keep it looking like new, they are going to call me as soon as they get another shippment in. It is supposed to be about $8-9 and you scrub liner and dry it then apply this product to moisturize the liner to a shinny finish. I will let you all know the name of product and how it works asap, or when they get more in.

PS the owner of the shop has had a Line-x in Dodge for 2 yrs and uses this product 4 times a year and the liner looked brand new, every bit as good as mine the day it was sprayed.

Thanks,
Todd

I too have a Line-X and have noticed the fade from gloss to flat. I preferred the gloss, but I still love that liner. When I had it sprayed the guy recommended a product called LRV by Wax Shop. I bought a bottle and this stuff works great! It's greaseless, has a lite (but pleasant) citirus smell, and is also a UV blocker. I don't know if this stuff is sold all over the country, but it's made in my home town of Bakersfield CA. If you're really interested you can try calling them at (800) 323-9192 or (661) 397-5274. I heard a rumor that they recently sold the company and may discontinue the product line soon. So you may want to get some before them. You seriously will thank yourself. I have stocked up myself.
