Install of BedRug Question

Is the Bedrug attached to the tailgate with the same kind of "velcro" stuff that its attached to the rest of the bed with?

yes

The bedrug is one big piece. The bedrug folds at the at the tailgate, and fastens at the end, with velcro. In this picture, you can see that I did not completely velcro it on straight, a little bit of "white" is showing. This was easily adjusted.

This is exactly why I was asking. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler, so I expect to need adjusting

Thanks again guys...

No it took around a half hour to 45min. Only thing is your in NJ and its cold there, I remember the instuctions said the trucks metal had to be a certain temp. So if you have or know someone with a heated garage you should be in good shape.

Question

...wouldn't using a heat gun/ hair dryer in the areas where the adhesive backing would stick to also work? I ordered one too and it is a bit chilly in NorCal at this time.

All I can say is I have a friend that works for 3M and he said when they put a temp in the instuctions for adhesive strips follow it. He works in the R&D lab so he knows what he is talking about.

Would your idea work, yes. Would it hold as good a year or two from now..... who knows.

If it were me I would find a friend with a heated garage or wait till spring, but thats me.

PJ234, I believe it is a T-35 and the bigger one for the bed extender is T-50.
