The non-foglight switch, while it pulls out like the foglight switch, it is not wired for the foglights. There were no pins on the switch side of the plug.
Well darn. I really dont like the look of the Fog-light switch.

I am going to take a stab in the dark here but I am going to guess that You don't have any kind of aftermarket alarm do you fairlaner. (no need to answer)

just to let you people who have an aftermarket alarm that flashes your parking lights when you arm the alarm, i just tried to do the wire part of this and when I locked/arm'd my truck it flashed my HIDs, I immediately disconnected the mod, I will see if i can find another way to wire it to get the desired results. and I will keep you posted on what I find if anything.

Is it just your camera/lighting, or do you have a blue dash board?

I never considered the effects of the mod on vehicles w/ alarms/remote locks (I've never owned a vehicle w/ either). I'm sure there's some sort of electrical solution for this problem (possible a diode ... I pretty weak on electrical). Ask over in the Electrical Forum, someone over there can probably help you out. If you get a solution, could you post a link to it in this How-To thread?

Do you have auto lamps on your truck? I want to do this mod to mine, but I need to know if it's any different. I don't have auto lamps.

Does the process change any if I don't have auto lamps?

I still want to be able to turn my fogs on and off with the switch, but I want to be able to do it in both park and head.

So do I need to pop the collar and file? Or just pop the collar?

if you want the fogs with your off swith/parking lots/ you will have to file the plastic off. then wire splicing.

if your just wanting to have fogs and brights on at same time just do the splice wiring part and not the physical part.
