How To Add Ford Ambient Lighting

Man I want the factory setup that came on the Platinum, HD, Limited. I wish they would have offered that as an option on my FX2.
Does anybody know how the factory setup is controlled? I heard someone say there is a switch but do you have to turn it on and off every time or can you leave it in the "ON" position and they turn on/off automatically with the ignition position?
Anybody have pics of the factory option?

I bought my lighting from the ford accessories website and didn't want dealer installation, so thank you very much! This is awesome!
