I'm not sure. It should be pretty close, but the 4x4 set up could be different.

 

I noticed the slide pins have notches on the sides of them, is there a certain way these are to be reinstalled?

Also is there a torque spec for the slide pin bolt?

The notches are to index the rubber boots. When you remove them and see how they are oriented, it will make more sense.

47 ft lbs. front, 22 ft lbs rear, per Chilton Manual. Worked OK on my '06 2WD.

 

my boots did not have index notches. I put everything back togather the slide pins are in the same spot, but the notches are not and everything seems to be fine.

any ideas.

 

Should i have put lock tite on the slide pin bolts?

 

Some do, I never have and never had a problem.

OK I dont know if this has something to do with the brake pad change but now when I come to a stop I feel a slight shudder/vibration. I dunno if this is the driveline or something related to the brake pad change.

 

I would highly recommend using loctite on the bolts which hold the caliper to the mount. I had one come loose even after torquing them to specs. Wired it up to get home. Loctite saves a lot of headaches and frustration.
