You will need to pull the passenger side seatbelt and lower the headliner to get to the connector. About a 30 min job
i didn't even do that. I just pulled the two circular tabs holding the headliner up in the back, and pulled down on it a little bit just enough to work in there. Used a long screwdriver to pop the connector off of the clip so i could pull the harness out and swap lights. took me about 15 minutes.
maybe on a regular cab you'll have to do this cuz there's probably less play in the headliner, but iwth an extended cab or screw, you don't even really have to go that far
