check out this idea!

back during my college summers I worked for a granite memorial company, and I'm going to see if they can do this or not with their blast stations:



going to pick up the fuel door as soon as I hear back from them and bring it over the holiday season....this would look pretty sweet if they can blast aluminum

Let me know what you think.......I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.

some more variations

made a few more variations, and now I can't decide which I like better!! help me out:

view the other designs

the bottom one on the page was left undone, since I was thinking of something else to put on the bottom portion of the door...any ideas?

contacted an etching company so we'll see what they...they do awesome work:

I like the 'F' Script but spell out FORD with 100 above and years below.

Thanks for the opinions everyone....Bikenut, Your idea turned out pretty well, I like that one a lot. Bold, but not over the top. you can see it on the URL posted above.

Now it's between 1 & 3! and I'm leaning towards 3 cuz it'd be easier to read.

yes exactly! I vote for that one for sure

But I like #1 alot too, except for the border around 100 years. maybe a ~ on each side of 100 years or something?
