Advice about nerf bars??

Has anyone ever heard of Truck Tec nerf bars? Good? Bad? Ugly? Came across what seems to be a good deal for a set of polished stainless ones for ext cab for $135. They look like the ones you can get from Ford. Anyways, any input on these nerf bars or opinions on other nerf bars will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

I have the Westin bars and have been very pleased for 3 years. They are pretty strong and the chrome is holding up real well. Good luck, Rich

Never heard of those, but I spent 350.00 for Ford chrome bars, so 135.00 sounds like a deal to me, especially if they are stainless.
I love my ford bars. Put them on myself. So far, no rust, and get lots of compliments on looks.

Spent $600 (installed) on my black Ford ones. They suck. Plastic caps ends just can't take the TX summer heat..

Well I had Westin on my old trcuk which was a super crew. The new Screw had the Westin Wheel to wheel models. These sucked. They weren't designed right and now after almost 4 months of pleading etc I am getting new Long oval bars from them in chrom with the others going back. Westin usually makes a nice product and I had the old ones for threee years with no major issues. Would say they are worth the money. If I would get westin or anyone else check with JCWHITNEY. They have a lot of options but at least you can look at the manufactureres and see what is best for you. Then shop around.

Bars

I just installed Westin Platinum bars which are Chromed Stainless Steel. They seem to be very high quality everything fit perfect. They were $319.00 from Summit Racing not to bad since they will never rusyt and have a lifetime warranty.
