194 Hyper White Bulbs.......

from ProCarParts.com . I installed these in place of the originals in my AC control panel and can't tell the difference in light output. I even tried one of the originals and one of the hypers at the same time and couldn't tell the difference. I was hoping for a little brighter light, but it didn't happen. Anyone wanting to do this, don't think these bulbs will do the trick.

Crap!!!! Mine are coming in today!!! I should have waited until you put yours in before I ordered mine.

You know, I had the same problem with some 55-watt halogen backup lights - really no difference from the factory bulbs.

On the bright side(no pun intended), the new bulbs are no worse than the factory bulbs, so now we have spares!

Give this a shot

My back up lights sucked too so I put two of those Baja off road lights under the truck facing backward where you can't see them and hooked up the relay to the stock back up light. So now when I throw it into reverse the two offroad lights turn on and light up everything.

Put a disarm switch in the centre consol or under the dash, you don't need them being used all the time.

Works well enough for me to back into trailers at night with no problems at all.

Have you guys thought about the LED #194 bulbs from APC.

I have a pair I got today and will put them in this afternoon and post some feedback tonight, how about that?
