Question Antenna Question

My antenna on my SuperCrew hits my garage door and I was curious if anyone knew where I could get a shorter one without any reception interruption. Do they make short billet antennas?

Go to eBay and do a search on "EuroStyle Antenna "

Should bring up a few hits...most are nice looking and relatively inexpensive.

BW,

You can cut your own antenna down, I believe you use a small tubing cutter to score the rod then snap it off. You can then force the end ball off and re-bond it to your shorter antenna. Trndz also sells a billit antenna I beleive you can get it at the online store here.

Just whack it off with a hacksaw, smooth the end and tick the ball back on. Works fine.

Had the same garage door problem, so I found a shorter billet antenna under ten bucks at Schuck's Auto (Checker auto in some places). Looks great. Works great.
