F150 Lightning Front End
I have alot of questions about this bumper piece maybe someone can answer them. Which is better the S-tech or the Wings West version of the Ford lightning front. I have a 2002 Flareside Regular Cab F150 sport. What kinda lights look good in the ford lightning bumper. Also do the dealers install them and paint them. Where is the best place to buy that ford lightning piece. Final question is what kinda grill inserts look best in the ford lightning front end. Any help is appreciated.
First of all I would suggest against getting any aftermarket pieces and would recommend looking on http://www.fordpartsonline.com for the lightning parts. These would be OEM equipment and would probably be better quality than S-tech or the Wings West is offering. Also, since Ford makes these parts for Ford trucks they would fit precisely. Next, the OEM Ford lights would look best in the Ford Lightning front end. Yes, the dealer would install and paint any front pieces that you would like to install. Their body shop is about like any other, they are looking to make a profit also, so they would do just about anything you would want to your truck provided they have the man power and/or you would be willing wait on a list to get your truck in to the shop. As stated above the best place to by Ford Lightning front pieces would be from a Ford dealer or http://www.fordpartsonline.com. Finally, the best looking grills are strictly a matter of opinion. I suggest look through the Lightning forums and doing a search on 'grill' or 'grills' and check out some of the pics. Those 'L' guys have some truly awesome trucks. Should give you more ideas than you care to have. And last but not least, there are several people who have done this mod to their Expeditions, Supercrews, and standard F150's. Again, run a search in the forums and you will find plenty of info and pics to give you all the information you need. Good luck with your project. The "L" front-end looks awesome on any of the F150 based trucks.
Thanks so much..
