Autoventshade Qwik-Snap Ventvisor
Anyone tried these yet? I had they stick on ones and i took them off. The ones for the SuperCrew don't fit on the rubber molding like the other F150's.

They came yesterday and it took all of 5 minutes to install all four in my Screw. Rock solid tight, low profile and allows windows to be opened a good 3 inches. Does not interfere with electric window operation at all. Best if all no 3M tape to deal with in case I want to remove them. Go for it!!!!!
I tried J C Whitney for mine. Waited 3weeks to get them only to find they sent me one's for a 93-01 Ranger. Called them up and was told to send them back for a exchange. Waited 2 more weeks and guess what. Get another set for a 93-01 Ranger. Funny thing is both sets had the full size truck part number on the box, but Ranger visors in them. I am done with Whitney!!

I found the ones I bought at www.mats.com. That URL actually takes you to MacNeil.com which is apparently an automotive parts supplier. Along the bottom of their home page are links and toward the middle you'll find WeatherTech WeatherFlectors. Click on that and it'll let you choose your year, make, and model of truck and it gave me part number 74032. They respond with emails for confimation and shipping and I even got a phone call after the fact asking if I was satisfied (I wonder if Ford Motor could try that????)
The product came within 7 days, is made in Germany, is high quality, and best of all was almost too easy to install.
Good luck to you !!!
oh yeah, one other thing: each visor has a sticker (very unobtrusive but nonetheless there) with the name of the manufacturer on it. I recommend that if you don't want it there to remove it before you install because they use some of the stickiest damn glue I've ever seen. At least they didn't burn the name FORD MOTOR into it like the factory front bug shield that I got from the dealer....

How exactly are they applied? I wanted some for my SCREW but didn't want to use the tape kind. So do they touch the paint at all? One more question....how much do the SCREWS run in price? I tried the website above but couldn't find them. Thanks

I may decide just to get the Weather Tech's as i know peopl who hhave them love them. I just wanted to inquire about a new product and get as much info as i could!
Thanks for your input!

installing WeatherTechs
The front seat visors install by bowing them in the middle and inserting them in the window channel. They fit perfectly and the sizing and shape holds them very snuggly in place with no tape. The rear window visors have a peice of tape along the edge that fits into the window channel. I suspect they'd hold fine without using the tape but using it ensures the thing won't drop out cruising down the road. No tape touches the paint.
Thanks for all the great info in this thread!
I previously had a set from Draw-tite, the stick on kind.
These things never formed a perfect seal and always leaked.
I got a set of the quick snaps after reading this thread, and you guys are right on the money.
Perfect fit, no leaks, and power windows work perfect.
Many Thanks
Habibi

hmmmmm......
I put your pics on my desktop Hab...... I never thought to paint the darn things :-) For continuity's sake are you going to get that black rubber trim painted as well? Thanks for the pics.....as soon as I get the digital camera back from the wife (she's decided that her mission in life is to take pictures of hummingbirds) I'll include some of my vehicle with the same visors not painted.
Happy Modding Folks !!!!!!!
(wish I could find a money tree......)

Seriously though, I will go to a few paint paint shops this week and get an estimate on a few things.
* Lower valiance
* Surround trim
* Tail-gate handle
* that little section on the hood where the wipers sit
* Bed rails
I curse the day I found these Ford truck sites via a Google search.... worst thing that ever happened to my wallet!

Some things I can paint myself, but for the above items, I really want it done right.
Best Regards
Habibi
