I have been driving around with the flags for a week. the flags are a car magnet
Are these flags to big, on the wrong way, the blue and stars need to be turned around? what do you think

You need to swap them around! They should be on as if the wind in blowing them back as you drive. Just as you would see a a Greyhound bus. Some airlines do it as well.

 

for display, the blue field of stars are supposed to be to the left and stripes to the right , however for the purpose in which you are using them it makes more sence to display as if they are blowing in the wind as you drive ...

and if you have a flag displayed on you car or truck that is tattered and torn from driving around since 9/11 , please remove it or replace it ...
