Bras!
Are you are using it for bugs you may encounter on trips?
I thought those bras were (a) expensive (b) for looks.
I have a screen I got about 25 years ago that is about six feet wide and about 2.5 feet tall. It has three 'S' hooks on each end which adjust to reach the wheel wells. In the summertime, I can't believe the cleaning work it saves me. I take it off in less than a minute, and blast it with a garden hose.
I hadn't really thought about it before but, this screen has been used on:
1974 Toyota Celica
1974 Dodge Charger
1980 Datsun 200SX
1985 Toyota Pickup
1987 Toyota Camry
1995 Ford Windstar
1999 Ford F150

They may be expensive. I haven't checked yet. Yes, I am wanting to reduce bug and small rock problems on longer highway trips. I want it to look good, but it is not something I want on all the time.
The SuperCab F-150 I had before my SuperCrew got nicks in the hood from rocks way before anything else started to show any wear. Bugs from long, higher speed trips always seem harder to clean too.

What I have doesn't help with rocks. I only used it in spring, summer, fall and especially if I was traveling at night. I'm always surprised at the collection of bugs that come my way.
Just happen to be coming by the home page and spotted half a bra.

Thanks! That one covers 90% of my problem area. Wouldn't look to out of place on a dark colored truck either. The air over the very front of the hood allows impacts. Most other areas, things seem to 'ride' over better.

I got one for them long trips. I don't leave home without it !!

I know mine looks different, but here's a few pics of my bra from colgan. Fits like a glove and works great. I got it for long trips and heading to shows to protect the front end. Got it for 1/2 price too. Only cost me 65 dollars. Its a little loose in the pic, but fits much better now. I have the hood piece too, but don't put it on cuz i have the bug guard.
Good luck with getting yours.

conway? $46 sounds a little steep for a Saddleman hood protector dude. Try going to AutoZone, Advance Auto, or PepBoy's. They should have it for around $36. I have a digital camera but I'm still tryin' to figure out how to post pics. Just bought a scanner so it'll be awhile before any pics. Sorry.
Harley#356, NICE TRUCK and Bra,but you need to lose the front license plate! I lived in Jersey for 30 years and I refuse to put on a front plate on my rides to runnin it. Another stupid law for Jersey, they have plenty.
Thanks for the compliment Madd.
Anyway, yeah jersey does have alot of stupid laws. But harrison cops are a b!tch. They pulled me over at a road stop and gave me a 50 dollar ticket for headlight covers. It was broad friggin daylight!
I take them off at night, and you can still see the turnsignals through them. They also tried to say my rims were illegal
She said they were too big to be legal. She had to radio the station, and they had to call the dealer, and then ford motor company in michigan to verify that they were stock. Took forever, but still got the headlight ticket. So i'm not even gonna bother with the **** yellow plates. I know i'm just gonna get pulled over with my luck around here. Anyway, i put my "suckin gas and haulin ***" plate on it for shows (you can kinda see it in my sig pic), and alot of people get a kick out of it so.....

Harley#356,
Yes, I got pulled over too in jersey for no front plate and a half dozen times for tinted windows. I asked the cop where did you pull me over from the front or the back? Why do you need a friggin plate on the front anyway. The statue for the tinted windows is a joke, there really is no statue for tinted windows. I went to private garages for inspection. These are some of the reasons I moved out of N.J. Others are high prices, taxes, congestion and terrible gun laws. I had had enough I packed up and moved accross the border to P.A. It's like a different country over here. I still drive to N.J. to work and the cop's can't touch me. Whooooooo,Haaaaaaaaaa! I love it!!!!!!! Women cop's are the worst, now picking on wheels and headlight covers. I think they need to Get a Life!I enjoy my vehicles and my gun's enough to move out. Hell, they do not even check emissions on vehicles where I live.

yeah i had PA tags on my 85 f150, and since i put under 4K miles on it for the past 4 years, its been exempt from emisions. It used to be cheaper over there, but now it all works out basically the same, and the garage i went to for insepection was trying to rip me off, so i just got jersey tags for it 2 months ago.

Truck looks newer now with the new plates and repainted bumper. I have the old tag along with some others on my wall.
When my lease is up on my HD next year, and i do the buyout, i'll get vanity tags for that one.
