led tail lights

I recently put led tail light bulbs in my truck and now the flashers flash really fast as if there is no bulb at all. I have heard that this is because the led has no delay in the flash and therefore the system thinks there is no bulb. How can i fix this? I like the look of my new led lights i just wish they would flash right.

I know theres a device on the web that changes the speed of you blinkers, but not sure if it will work.

I have the same problem. I'm searching around to see if I can find a resistor or something that will let them flash at a regular speed.

I used one of these on my motorcycle after I installed LEDs on it - this worked like a charm:

Not sure if it will work for trucks or not, but it couldn't hurt to check it out and do some research.

Good luck!

I am real interested in the LED tail lights. Where did you purchase these lights? Are these units the type that utilize the current bulb sockets? If these use the current sockets are there LED lights available for the front as well?
