Question Grille Guard options for a 1997?

I'm looking for different options for a grille guard but most of the pictures I find are for newer trucks. I want a guard that's black, keeps the factory tow hooks, has some type of headlight protection, and won't interfere with a future bug shield. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have looked into them and just never bought one yet. Many good brands out there. I can't tell you which ones keep the factory tow hooks (most should) but all that I looked at had headlight protection. These prices are upto 6 months old and reflect what I found
Westin Sportsman black- $around 400
GO Rhino- $450
Manik- ???
Smittybuilt- 437

Out of those IMO the Westin or the Manik are the best built units. I think the Manik offers a winch plate for theirs if needed. If you want to get a Stainless Steel unit yo are looking at 700 and up.

I have a 97 flareside and I had a smittybuilt outland put on my truck. It kept the tow hooks, has headlight guards and wires, placement for off road lights AND a step bar lower so I can reach my hood to wash it.

Looks great, its black and it was $510 installed

Hope this helps
