Question Trident vs Interceptor Bug Deflector

Can anyone tell me their preferences between the Lund Trident and Interceptor bug deflectors? I had an Interceptor on my last F-150 and I was happy with it, but I thought I should investigate a little more about the Trident before I buy another Interceptor for my new F-150. The problem is that I cannot find a picture of the Trident on an F-150. All of the pictures that I find are with the 250 Superduty. Any pros /cons/experiences with either product would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Mike

Sorry those came out as thumbs, I have yet to master this pic posting thing. Go to my gallery and you can see several shots of the Trident.

Thumbs up

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your truck and the bug shield. That's exactly what I was hoping, that someone could show me what the Trident looks like on an F-150. Is it true that the Trident is installed without drilling any holes? Thanks again.

By the way, you have a sharp looking truck.

No drilling. It mounts with little clamps that hold it very securely. I did put little pieces of rubber under the hood where the clamps tighten, just so it would not mar the paint. I am very happy with this guard so far, althought this time of year nothing really keeps bugs off the windshield. My purpose in having a bug guard is to keep rocks off my hood. Good luck with your decision.

It is a Tal And Hadas SS guard. It is made in Israel and can be ordered thru several dealers in the US. It was $700 and there is a skid plate which can be purchased to mount in between the bottom bars. Web site is tal-and-hadas.com. You can find a map of dealers there and pics of their guards. I like it a lot.
