Sport decal

when i bought my black f150 XL with the yellow sport decals on the bed, i thought "hey, they dont look too bad...i can live with it." now i hate them. i want a sleek, black truck, with no yellow decals on the side...so how do i get rid of them? anyone know a cheap way?

Decals

I went through the same thing with my '01 XLT Sport and decided the black on silver didn't look too bad and have left them on.

I have always heard that if you get to them within a few months, the decals will come off if you heat them up with a hair dryer. I believe the dealer told me that when I mentioned I wasn't sure I liked them. He said if you wait too long, they're harder to get off.

mine ugly yellow sport stickers came off easily with the help of a hair dryer.

I agree... wait for a warm sunny day and then go out there with the hair dryer... just work slowly and they should come off no problem... hope it works for ya....
