Window tinting

I've been looking to get my windows tinted for quite some time now. Does anyone know of any good places to get this done in the detroit area,, i know nothing of what sort of prices tinting costs, some of you that have had it done, how much did it run??

Any help would be apreciated, i've been looking to get a graduated tint done but just haven't had time to call around in the yellow pages.

Thumbs up $75

If I'm not mistaken I think mine cost $75. I told the place to match the side windows with the back ones. They did a real nice job too. I've had them over 2 years with no problems so far.

I had the front side's done and the rear window, mine cost $150.00. I found that the cost varies alot depending on your area. Mine has also been on for over 2 years with no problems. Talk to people in your area that have them done and find out where and how satisfied they are.

JA_Stang86, you know we got ripped off.

Lariat Supercabs got the dark tint rear window standard.
It wasn't even an option for us.

finding a place should be easy. look around, i have about 5 places within 10 minutes. i got mine done at line x, it was 45 dollars for each window, plus 25 for the window strip. since mine was an "illegal" level, they tried to get more for it, but my expert reasoning (dumb looks) got me it for the price of normal. didn't get a warranty, but i got the receipt, so i assume i'd manage to get it done, but i haven't had any problems. just be careful, act like the tint is paint, i have a nick in mine.

No kidding Raoul, why do you think that is? I was getting sunburnt on the back of my neck, and the cops didn't buy the excuse that I could not see my instruments from the glare.

I don't know why it was like that.
I only picked up on it because of difference between the '99 and '00 Lightning. 99 was no tint and '00 was tinted. Then I noticed the '99 Supercabs had the tint on back doors and back glass. My back glass had no tint at all and I got every option except that dang spaceheater for the motor.
