Question Harley Grill

Can anyone tell me if the 2002 Harley Grill insert will fit a 2000 F150 xlt? I think it should but you never know.

Hey Smokey
The HD Grille should work or i would think so. But I heard that they were quite expensive. I was given the quote of $300 at a local dealer... Either way, best of luck to you.

I kinda like the billet, but I noticed the Harley grill a couple of days ago and I think I like it a little more. I'm checking on price today. I'm sure it's a little high, but hey I'm only going to buy it once.

Checked with my parts guy at Ford and he told me that to install the 2002 grill I would have to make from other modifications. Grill surround and bumper. According to him th Harley grill is taller than the standard Honeycomb grill. Grill would cost $260.
n6van, did you have to make any changes to install and how similar in appearance is the '01 to the "02?

The HD grills are plastic with crome plating. Not what you'd expect from Harley or Ford or, er uh, is it?!

Yeah, I thought that would be a good alternative to an aftermarket one. That is until I was quoted a price and I asked what it was made of.

Hey, maybe some of the lightning owners should get it. It's got to be much lighter than the alluminum one. I bet you could knock off atleast .01 secs. -JK-

But seriously, plastic and $250+... I think I'll get an aftermarket billet one.

I have one on my black 4x4 screw. Bought it from kar kraft & look's real good. It's the chromed plastic but I did'nt care since everything else around it is plastic also. $79.95 I think it was a good mod & I get lot's of compliment's on it.

Actually, $79.95 is a pretty good price. For that amount, I agree, it is worth it.
