Question Replacing Headlight Bulbs

I bought a set of SuperWhites and what is the easiest way to install them? By removing the top plastic or ? 2001 XLT. Thanks for the help.

Probably the easiest way is to take out the whole headlight. All you have to do is pop up the 2 black clips and the headlight assembly will come out. Unplug the bulb and replace it. It's about a 5 minute job.

For the foglights, you may have to file down a portion of one of the tabs on the bulb. I just did mine last week and had to file down about 1/3 of the tab.

I just took the back off of my foglight, put the 9005's in and screwed teh back of the housing back on. work like a charm with no problems since I have done that. no water or dirt.

One thing I have noticed, even before swapping out the bulbs, is condensation inside the lens. Anyone else run into this? How did you solve the problem?
