Lund Interceptor

Looking at adding Bug/Hood shield, wondering if anyone is using the Lund Interceptor. If so, how do you like, how does it mount and does it allow enough room to clean between it and the hood? Photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any info.

I have the Lund Interceptor on my truck and I am very pleased with it. It mounts to the hodd with plastic clips with screws (like the ones Ford uses in engine bay. No holes to drill, doesn't touch the hood, no bumpers needed easy to clean hood.

I don't have a Lund bug deflector. But I do have a Bugflector II. It mounts the same way that the Interceptor does. And it looks about the same too. And costs less. But the Lund bugshields are made of lexan(virtually unbreakable), and the Bugflector II's are made of high impact acryilic.<--(SP), which is breakable. Mine looks and performs great, but if I had to buy a new Bugshield, It would be a Lund. Just my 2 cents.

Talking Lund Interceptor

I've had one installed for 5 1/2 years and no complaints whatsoever. Meguiar's has a Mirror Glaze Professional #10 (comes in a gray pop-top bottle, it's a thin liquid) which is recommended for periodic polishing. Great deflector and polish. Hope they work as well for you as they have for us.

Cool

I had one on my 1993 Ranger as long as I owned it, and my F-150 got one the day I picked it up from the dealer. When I replace this F-150 the new one will get one too. Excellent product in my opinion.
