I was at a local show here recently, and noticed a LOT of the
F-150's had swapped the factory mirrors for a shorter, but seemingly wider mirror assembly. Most of these guys had custom paint, and that included the mirror housing. The entire assembly looked to be either fiberglass or metal and replaced the plastic connection to the door with a nicely flushed look.

Anybody seen or have any information on these?

I have used these mirrors in the past and they do look good on the truck but IMO a little small. the only thing that I didn't care for with these mirrors is that you can't see very well out of them compared to stock but hey that's just my .02
