Unhappy $99 for a sticker! with pictures now

I purchased the NuImage Platinum Series Instrument Panel and A/C Panel kits. Maybe I was thinking that for a hundred doallrs, the instrument panel display would be a plastic module or something. Its a fricken sticker. Well, the OE is a sticker too. But a hundred dollars is steep. It looks really clean during the day, not quite white, blends well with my light gray interior. At night, the display is kinda shiitty. You can see exactly where all the bulbs are located. THe dials have bright and dim spots within them. I'm gonna experiment with a few different bulbs, maybe some blue ones and maybe some hyperwhites. The AC panel looks nice, it was 30 bucks. 99 just for the instrument cluster. I wouldn't spend the money again for another vehicle, but I guess its alright. The chicks dig it. Lemme know if anyone wants to see any pics.

Unhappy

I was going to get a set of these to replace my "defective" speed-glos. I just saw an install how to in a magazine, and I wasn't impressed with how they looked during the daytime. I ESPECIALLY didn't like their big a$$ logo right in the middle of the speedo. Pretty much a disappointment to me. Oh well, back to the search. Just when I thought I had found the solution.,,,,98

I would love to see pics as well, however

Lightbulb Here's some pictures of the NuImage guage

Here's a day and night picture taken from an angle. There's a straightforward picture taken during day and night in the gallery. Lemme know what you think. The instrument display was 99 dollars, the AC panel display was 30. Well, shiit, I forgot to take pictures of the A/C display. You get the idea. I bought some bulbs today to change out behind the cluster. Some aqua bulbs, similar to the illumination now. I'll post those pics when I get bored enough to take the dash apart again.

Larger pics, different angles in the gallery.

Cool

It looks like gauge kits are getting cheaper and cheaper But, actually they don't look much different than regular white gauges when lit up. I still don't like thier logo on them, but at least they don't light up I wish they came with black letters, too. It would look silly to have blue and silver in my tan interior. I'm sounding overly critical I know, they don't look bad at all, really. It's just they don't do anything for me. I guess it's back to standard white gauges again, this time with red lettering.,,,,98

I bought one of the white gauge panels from NR Automotive and I must say they are the best quality I have ever seen or used as close to stock as you could get if not better.

Hey INSINER8,
I would have thought you'd have the flamed gauges, because of your screen name alone,,,,98

Talking

$99 for a sticker sounds like a bargain actually.
When I bought my truck, between paying for 4x4 and the SPORT option, I think I paid about $3500 for my sticker.
