tonneau cover restore

i just bought a 99 f 150 extended with the sport package and the tonneau cover has started to fade, the original owner said he never installed it cause it was to hard.
so when i got the box it was in i opened it up and the black cover is more like a grayish color, can i spray armour all or something like that on it??

Most manufacturers have a 3-5 year warranty on the cover. Try calling their 1-800 # and see if they'll give you a new one. You may just have to pay shipping. I know my Extang has a 3-year warranty.

Question Is it factory Ford?

I've got a factory cover on mine and it was gray from the day I picked up the truck. As far as using Armor-All on it, don't. You'll have it running down the sides of your bed during the first rain. Been there, done that.

You sure it's stock?

Yeah, I've had two of them and the were both a light black, dark gray color.

I guess mine is dark gray. Thanks about the wheels, biggins.
