Screwed My Taillight Covers!!!

Couldnt keep the Da*n Things on so i just drilled a hole in the middle on both sides and put a small screw in there!!
Is this a bad idea??

You might put a dab of silicone in the holes before putting the screws in to help keep the water and dust out.

I agree with the silicone idea and as long as there is no light showing through you should have no problems.
