Easiest way to Lower F150?

My Ford sits a little too high, and I was wondering what would be the easiest way to lower it 2"-3" or around there. What things could I do to lower it. Take in mind I don't want to do the cheap way like cut the coil springs, but I don't really want to pay $400 for a full suspension kit either. Are there any other alternatives?

My truck stats are below.

The cheapest route I can think of for a 2/3 drop is 2' coils in the front which are about $120 from Belltech, Hotchkis, or Western Chassis. In the rear go with Western Chassis shackles (around $50 I believe) and they are adjustable between 2-3 inches. I'm not sure if you can keep your stock shocks though. Might need some ones for lowered applications. Belltech has some for $29 a piece.

Cool

A couple of yards of gravel in the bed would be the cheapest way
Sorry, that was too easy.

i agree with 99. it would also be alot cheaper to install it yourself. i put some shackles on my truck.the shackles were like 40 at my door, but a shop wanted 90 to install them

if I get Belltech Nitro drop shocks, front lowering springs, and rear shackles, will that be all I need? What about a rear flip kit or some hangers? Are they necessary?

ok well here has been my experence. ive got shackles on my truck and it pretty much leveled it out. what size coils did you get? the way it sound with the parts you, is that you will still have a slight rake in the rear. if you wanted to make the back lower you could get some hangers. flip kit i think is pointless unless you want more drop like 6" or so. hope some of that helps you out

If you want the easiest route to lower your truck i would think coil springs and shackles would be the easiest. If your mechanically inclined it shouldnt take you more than 3-4 hours to install everything. Once you start getting into hangers and such you have to start popping out rivets and cutting things which require air tools.

when we lowered my truck it took about 3 hours to cut off the factory hangers. it was horrible. but the results were worth it.

I looked up Belltech nitro front shocks and they have 0-3" front drop shocks, but in the rear they have 4" only drop shocks. I'm only wanting to lower the rear 3". Will these shocks work for a 3" lower and not 4"?

I think letting the air out of the tires would be easier than the gravel method.
