Brushguard

Anyone have an opinion on Westin or Smittybilt? One piece or modular?

I actually saw that on truckaddons.com. I like it, but not sure...may be a little too funky...nice at first, but may get old fast. Smittybilt and Westin, as far as I know are proven brands...just wondering if one is better/more solid than the other. I can get the Smittybilt Outland One Piece for $275 at Summit, the Modular is 350ish, the Westin (on piece I think) is about $10 more. I am thinking the Smitty for $275 might be low quality based on the price. Anyone with either the Smittly or the Westin...please help.

brush guard options

I just got off the phone with Smitty built, and Autobahn wholesale in regards to my smitty built outland modular brush guard. I have had it for two years and it has blown a rust hole and pealing paint bad. I am sure they will cover it, but damn what a pain that can be. I reccomend the modular style, that way you can replace certain parts, or change things around. I did pay about $360 for mine, and I hope that they work with me on this one. Hell they never even gave me my free tee shirt.

GOOD LUCK

I have the chrome Westin modular and have had no problems. I chose the Westin because it curves out around the grill
