Hey wrong17, I have the same dilemma that you have. Can't decide where to put my front LCD either. Right now it is just lying on the floor hump. If you come up with any more ideas, let us know and take some pics!

 

I vote the overhead. Look's nice.

A dumb question - What's it for ? What do you get to see on this ?

 

one of my dumbass buddies chopped up the overhead console and made a fiberglass pod for the LCD. It looks ok, but I would have either modified the center console or made the screen flip up into the overhead console. His is hard mounted and interferes with using the rear view mirror.

There is a lot of room under the cupholder. Have you considered mounting the LCD on some sliders to allow it to be pulled from the console when you want to use it, but still conceal it from thieves? It would take some fab work, but I think it would be worthwhile.
