Question Bench seat to buckets?

My truck came with a benchseat...which I am not enamored of in the slightest. It's a standard cab and under hard cornering, with belt on, my butt goes sliding across it.

Has anyone heard of a benchseat to bucket seats swap? If so, how difficult?

In theory they should bolt right on. i dont think they would manufacture a whole cad just to fit a type of seat, that isnt economical. its kinda like how all the trucks have a place on the instrument panel that say "4 low" or something like that. i was about to put some bucket seats with a floor mounted console in my regular cab, but the deal with my friend fell through.

I guess I'll find out...

As soon as my seats get back from the upolstery shop Im putting in a split bench seat out of a 99 F150 Xlt Xtended cab. I've been told that will bolt right up but I guess I'll find out!
Any suggestions on how to hook up the electric side of the seats???

ohh and its not hard at all just go down to your local seat shop and they'll know what to do, just be prepared to spend a buck or two if you want leather, but its not as bad as it might seem

Thanks for the information, guys.

Have decided to go with it but definetly do NOT want leather....even with window tinting, my poor, short wearing legs will get sizzled and froze upon them.

Recaro seats have a heat and ventilation option, it's about $500 in addition to the price of the seat and includes power movement.
